Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Kahil Gibran

"We hold in our arms the rising generation. They come to this earth with important responsibilities and great spiritual capacities. We cannot be casual in how we prepare them. Our challenge as parents and teachers is not to create a spiritual core in their souls but rather to fan the flame of their spiritual core already aglow with the fire of their premortal faith." Danny Boy Turns 22!~

When you first meet Dan you can't help but be enveloped by his huge smile. His love permeates the room around him. Then you ask him a question and he often responds back with something funny and his silly laugh makes you laugh in response. His hugs make your day all better too! He is just loveable! I am so grateful to have married into his family and to enjoy his sweet spirit. I am grateful for the lessons he teaches me about enjoying the simple things in life and not taking too much for granted. I am excited for my little boy to meet his "Aunt" Danny and to be called "Johnny Test". WE LOVE YOU DANNY BOY! Happy Birthday. We hope you have fun with your construction site stuff.

  1. Why does Danny want to be called "Aunt"?

  2. We try and tell him that he's going to be an Uncle but he insists that he's going to be Aunt Danny!! Hahaha I don't know.

To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time.

Families are Forever

"When you come to the temple you will love your family with a deeper love than you have ever felt before. The temple is about families... And it doesn't stop there. It extends to parents, brothers and sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, forebears, and especially our grandchildren! This is the Spirit of Elijah, which is the spirit of family history work; and when inspired by the Holy Ghost, it prompts the turning of the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers. Because of the priesthood, husbands and wives are sealed together, children are sealed to their parents for eternity so the family is eternal and will not be separated at death." Elder Richard H. Winkel of The Seventy Ensign November 2006
